You were in love with her, but I was in love with you
I know I needed to stop this and think things through.
But when I see you in her arms, tears just start to flow,
All I do is smile for you as my world was getting slow.
In my head, all are thoughts of you with me...
It's just in my head and I know that can never be.
The way you look at her so full of love,
I want you to look at me that way too, but that's just too odd.
I don't know what you did to make me feel this way,
I don't know what to do now my heart's in dismay.
Every night I gaze upon the stars wishing for you to see
That for once I wish you would love me.
But reality check we're friends and that's all we'll ever be
